The Portland large 2 seater sofa with power recliner action is made by Parker Knoll and has a wonderful all round support with the high fibre filled back cushions and deep relaxing seats. This design has a comtemporary edge coming from the double arm design and smooth flowing lines. Made in a wide choice of fabrics or leathers it is easy to find a covering to match any homes requirements, and there are also wood colour choices for the legs or a modern brushed steel leg option.
This recliner sofa plugs in a normal household wall socket and is worked with switches on the outside of the arm. Simply press the button to move smoothly through the reclining action which firstly lifts the back of the legs and then continues to lower the rear of the recliner. Take pressure off the button when at the best position and the recliner holds there. When you want to return to sitting simply press the opposite button and the recliner moves back to the sitting position.
Each side of the sofa reclines independently from the other and has it's own controls on the outside of the appropriate arm. There is also a handy USB charging socket next to the buttons to charge mobile phones, tablet computers or lap tops with.
This item plugs into a normal household wall socket but if don't have one close enough, or wish to avoid cables running across the floor, then there is the option to have a rechargeable battery pack to power it.
